Dear colleagues,
Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated, we will include in the revised
versions
regards
Carmel

Dear all,
here our feedbacks on curriculum documents:

1) FLOW CHART: we think that the "Whole school community" block has to be
a
whole background block that includes both resilience skills and processes.
We agree with Birgitta suggestions.

2) CURRICULUM THEMES: here our suggestions/doubts, 1) Cognitive skills: is
self talk a separate skill or is included in positive thinking? We think it
is a separate aspect; 2) Social skills: maybe we can also include
communication skills (we could think empathy as a high level of
communication skill?).
We are thinking to another theme "sense of belonging" that include aspects
like feel loved, feel secure, confident and trust in others.
We think that other important aspects that we have to think about are:
creativity, self-esteem and sense of humor, that in resilience literature
are cited as protective factors.

3) CRITICAL VARIABLES:point 5 shall we can include also the school staff?.
We agree with Birgitta in regard to the mutual influence.

Ciao a tutti,
Roberta, Assunta, Valeria

Dear all
Please find enclosed our first draft of the resilience curriculum
framework, the themes and the activities for your feedback. We welcome
your feedback on the three documents, particularly the themes ( we need
to
agree on 6 or 7 major areas of resilience skills which will be developed
across the three age stages (KG/early years/junior years)- at the moment
there are 6 general areas/major themes, but I think we still need to
work
on these as a team before we can have a final set of themes we are all
happy with and then we can start working the activities on. Have also a
good look at the activities samples and let us know your feedback on
them,
we will start working on these once the framework and the themes have
been
finalised. So I suggest in the next two to three weeks or so we share
our
thoughts on the three documents both through emails and the google
drive.
I would like to thank Anastassios and Birgitta for their contribution to
these documents
regards
Carmel
