Dear all
I am suggesting the following pairs to work on the activities as critical
friends for each other (both ways) but feel free to make your own
recommendations if you are not happy with this arrangement:
Malta- Italy
Greece-Sweden
Croatia-Portugal

Activities format:
Theme: (eg Developing a growth mindset)
Topic (= subtheme) (eg. Positive and optimistic thinking when facing
challenges)
Activity:(= name of activity) (eg. The happy, busy porcupine)
Learning goal (=objectives): (eg. Children will identify some of their
basic strengths and assets and how these could be used in their daily
tasks OR Children will identify 3 strengths they have, and describe how
these could be used in learning)
Learning outcome (eg. By the end of this activity I will be able to
describe 3 positive qualities I have….)
Age group: Early Years/Early Primary/Late Primary
Level: Basic/Intermediate/Advanced
Materials needed:
Activity steps :…..
Take home activity:

Use of animals:
We have agreed to use animals in the Early Years and Early Primary School
activities. We also agreed that animals will include stereotypical weak
and normal animals who are successful despite their weaknesses rather than
just 'super hero animals' eg. turtle/ snail/hedgehog; we also mentioned
that animals may be matched with the theme eg. ants for collaboration;
dolphins for happiness; other animals mentioned include giraffe, kitten,
lion (?), horse, cow.

I suggest we give our feedback on this via email as it would be useful at
this stage if we are clear on which animals we will be using and how (eg
having common animals running through all the activities at one Age Group
(eg Early Years); I think it would be useful to have some consistency
across activities per age group. We also need to decide whether we agree
on a small group of animals which will run through the activities at one
age group; or identify a group of animals per age group and we would be
free which ones to use in our stories and activities. If need be we can
organise a doodle to help us choose.

Training of trainers:
If you have suggestions of potential trainers please make your suggestions
in the next two weeks or so

best regards
